So YOU’re the one the laundry book was written for? Bethany and I were laughing at that book in Chapters a few weeks back–surely there can’t be more than one book in the universe about laundry, so it must be the same one. Please tell me there’s only one.

I decided a while back that my time & sanity is worth more than white undies. For once, I’m not going to implement your idea. I won’t, I won’t, I won’t! Not this week, anyway:)

I recommend the Alanna series by Tamora Pierce, available in the YA section. That’s my favorite mindless adventure + magic + female hero reading these days.

When your auntie first became a vegetarian almost 27 years ago now (and your father thought it would not last Everyone gave me cookbooks, convinced I would starve. Carolyn gave me the Moosehead something or other. I don’t cook and I have not starved. I subsist on this and that and hope that my carbon footprint (large in other areas) is a bit offset by the vegetarian thing.
