I'm a firm believer in just straight-up not having these so-called wisdom teeth in the first place. I think I took the better road of keeping my wisdom where it belongs: in my head of course! :) Never had wisdom teeth and never will. I don't even have buds for them. I hope to pass this trait on for generations as a Good Idea. I just hope it's a dominant gene...

Yes, I'll never know first-hand the experience of yanking what should be permanent bone-from-bone, protected from the pain only by little chemicals bonding on the right receptors so as to interrupt the massive electrical charges from storming the brain in Pain Receptors Gone Wild.

Oh. My. Goodness. You just had me laughing so hard! You have an art for taking the pains and "arg's" of life and making them hysterical! Didn't get dry sockets but I heard they suck. Sorry about that. I'm glad you posted pics...especially the one with little A decorated with stickers. And excuse me...8 PLUS?!?! See, now I think you are crazy. I hate mouth pain but it has never compared to labor pains for me!!!! (and yes, I've had root canals, wisdom teeth pulled, crowns, the works) I went in at 4 and DEMANDED drugs STAT!

There's a lot to comment on in this (espcially, I'm so sorry you've been in so much pain)...but what I want to focus on is Sydney Bristow. I did feel pretty badly for her, but also for Will because the same thing happened to him. Basically, that show was so good for so long - then so blah. Thanks for bringing us back to the good old days!

Sharing a bed with a sibling. Little A and not so little JJ should hear some stories from their Grandmother G about sharing. Grandauntie says darling A is lucky he isn't old enough to be totally freaked out by his sibling pretending to be dead in bed. Yeesh. Talk about a journey to wholeness or somewhere...

Man, that's a lot of dead chickens, eh? Oh wait, thighs, so divide by 2? Being a vegetarian makes one forget about chickens and their thighs.

Feel better and remember, pain meds are very often necessary--that's why God gave us opium poppies. Well, and they're awfully pretty too (byproduct isn't so bad either).
